Diving into Mental Health and Wellbeing.

In October, RMS team members, Hayley Tosen, Rob Kalinowski and Linzi Aitken attended the iCare Mental Health Forum on the Central Coast.

We were pleased to connect with colleagues from Sanitarium, and the North NSW and Greater Sydney Conferences who also attended the Forum.

Pictured with our very own Hayley Tosen is Mr Andrew Ellery, Head of Community Engagement at iCare who gave an excellent presentation on the importance of social connections for recovery in the workplace.

We attended three high-quality lectures by iCare practitioners who:

  • Provided tools on how to identify early indications of mental health challenges
  • Demonstrated ways to help support individuals within the workplace
  • Increased our understanding on the impact of traumatic events on worker behaviour
  • Gave practical advice on managing recovery and engagement.

Psychological safety must be a priority for Adventist workplaces and RMS is interested in learning and developing more in that space.

RMS has connections through iCare and other providers who can deliver mental health first aid training courses. If this is something you’re interested in for your Adventist organisation, RMS is ready to help. Please talk to us today.
